Um can't you trade armors etc so other people after the event is able to dye them for you? wouldn't that set up a new sort of business.

I bought enough to dye stuff throughout the year.....so if I need it I have it, and since it was cheap I can also experiment with it (and the other cheap dyes)...I am just glad they did it, whether they bring it back or not.

I can't say I'm wild about this shade of pink on most of the stuff I've tried it on, but I've been able to mix up some prettier shades with it! I was finally able to mix up a shade that wasn't too purple or super dark on my monk's obsidian armor.

Now to tackle my warrior's primeval...

They might. They might not. If you're willing to risk the headache of mixing until you get an acceptable pink, you're certainly free to chance it. Some of us have lovely armor shades that can no longer be matched in the new dye system. And some of those lovely shades were the result of a truly painstaking effort to achieve the *right* color. The value of a readily available pink..... Well, it's a powerful lure to those of us who play Barbie Wars.

It's a special promotion for Breast Cancer Awareness. Gamers Giving Back hosted a fundraiser site and prizes were donated by assorted philanthropic benefactors. Anet stepped in with pink dye and a trader to sell it. Prizes were awarded by random drawing. A community event to raise awareness and promote the fundraising was held in LA ID1. The dye trader will leave us at the end of the month since that will be the end of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
